Tomorrow

by Shelby Brasuell

I leave from home every morning,
Dreading school and the day ahead...
I dread, oh do I dread school
Counting down the minutes [until] time to go,
I wait to go home
And see all the familiar things I love,
Like my bed…my old cozy fireplace,
There’s just nothing like home.
Now waiting patiently for tomorrow.
