Poetry

by Kaleb Noles

Poems are everywhere
They can be found in the bud of a flower
or in the enormous stump of an old oak.
They grow as a small sappling does.
They flow as swift as a stream
or move slower than vines creeping up a tree.
They can smell better than roses on a summer day.
They may be livelier than a fuzzy squirrel
or be deader than decaying leaves.

One thing I am certain of
is that poems can be found anywhere
you just have to know where to look.
