Four Haikus
"The Runner"
Steadily running
One, two, left, right, At peace with
himself and the road.
"Perfect"
Clink! The ice in my
tea shifts as it melts in the
warm summer sunlight.
"The Cat"
Hunker'd down, watching.
Waiting to pounce on the small
unsuspecting mouse.
"He"
His beauty struck me
like a ton of bricks, hard. He
took my breath away.
